The head is double-sided shows him with a blinded right eye and scarred face. The vest also shows some signs of it being dirty. Evazan wears a dirtied shirt with a brown vest over it. Two popular characters have made their debut in this set with Dr. His accessories also include a blaster and a pair of binoculars. It is slightly updated using a cheese slope and clip instead of flat tiles and round tile with shaft and clip instead of a telescope. Going around the neck is a clear bracket that the backpack is attached on to. Over the shoulder, there is an orange pauldron showing off his rank. The front of the torso also has printing of a black ammo pouch. The armor does have a lot of sand residue on front and back of the torso as well as on the legs. Dewback Microfighters (75228) but this one has some updates to the accessories. The Sandtrooper Squad Leader is somewhat rare as this version of him was only in the Escape Pod vs. Like with Artoo, C-3PO is the same minifigure that we’ve gotten before in many sets that have released since 2016. I’m kind of disappointed that there is still no printing on the back of the torso. The head dome piece is the newer one that was introduced this year. R2-D2 is the same minifigure that we’ve seen before in previous sets with nothing new added to it. She also has a separate hair piece for the large ears. The head shows her with a rodent face with the flat nose. She has on a burnt orange outfit with a white vest and short legs. Kabe is a new character in LEGO form and she was seen grabbing a drink at the bar. Finally, he has a paper cape that completes his look. The brown hood that he has is the newer style where it splits at the middle. He only has a single-sided head with it showing a gray bearded face. He has a tan tunic with some nice detailing on the belt that also shows a pouch on the backside. Obi-Wan Kenobi is also a recurring minifigure with the same one also in the Death Star Cannon (75246).
The face also has some gray hair showing on the sideburns. He does have a double-sided head with a grumpy expression on one side and an angry expression on the other. He wears a tan shirt with some chest hair showing. Wuher is the same minifigure as in the smaller previous Mos Eisley Cantina set. The head is like a dinosaur as he is of the Saurin species. It wears an olive green shirt with a tan vest. Next up, we have Hrchek Kal Fas who was seen at the bar when Dr. The tunic is pretty accurate to the film and he has a double-sided head with a smile on one side and an angry expression on the other. Luke Skywalker is in his white Tatooine outfit that we’ve seen before in the Death Star Escape (75229). It has been a while since we had a LEGO set that contains so many minifigures but is it a good selection? I’ll be going through them as they appear in the instructions. Since there are a whopping 21 minifigures in the set, I’ll be splitting up the review for the minifigures themselves and the build. The LEGO Star Wars Mos Eisley Cantina (75290) releases in a few days but we have a chance to get an early look at it.
